Frequently asked questions
Q.  How hard is it to install your mounting hardware onto the bike?

A.  It is relatively easy.  In most cases it is merely a process of removing the bolts from the strut  and replacing them with our longer bolts and "buttons".   It is actually easier and quicker than relocating the turn signals.  We tell people that if you are comfortable with changing your own oil, you shouldn't have any problems.  If not, you should consider having a dealer install them for you.

Q.  Will I have to relocate my turn signals?

A.
For Softails -Maybe.  See- Softail turn signal info.
For Dynas -Probably.  See-Dyna turn signal info.
For Sportsters -Probably.  See- Sportster turn signal info.

Q.  Is that picture of the guy standing on the bags real?

A.  Yes, Jared really is standing on the bags and he weighs 175lbs.  However, we don't recomend that you try this because if you put all your weight on one bag while climbing up there, you might damage the bag.

Q.  I have a detachable sissy bar on my bike.  Can I still mount your bags?

A.  Yes.  The only time there is a problem is if you have a Dyna Wide Glide with the Wide Glide sideplates.  No one makes a bag that will work with these side plates because they cover up the rear hole of the frame.  However, you can use the regular Dyna sideplates and mount them on your Wide Glide and it works just fine.

Q.  I already have some nice saddlebags.  Can I just buy your brackets and put them on my bags?

A.  No.  They won't fit onto the backs of your bags unless your backs are molded exactly like ours, and they aren't.

Q.  Do you have saddlebags to fit the Deuce?

A.  No, we have discontinued the Deuce saddlebags.

Q.  Do you make saddlebags to fit bikes other than Harleys?

A.  Not at this time.  However, if we get enough requests for a specific bike to justify the time required to build the molds, we will consider it.
